SWADDLING YOUR BABY
Some babies find swaddling very reassuring during the first few months after birth. It makes them feel safe and secure. And it can certainly help with anxiety and getting a better night’s sleep.
Swaddling is one of those subjects young mums and parents will undoubtedly have questions about before their little one is even born. A little reassurance: practice will soon show whether this is right for your baby.
YES OR NO TO SWADDLING YOUR BABY?
Swaddling your baby during the initial period after birth is not recommended, as this time should be used to have as much (skin on skin) contact with your baby as possible. So it won’t be particularly useful to have a swaddling cloth or swaddling sleeping bag between you and your baby during this period. If you notice your little one is quite restless or is having trouble sleeping during those first few weeks, consult your midwife or the consultation office for advice. Swaddling can be a good solution.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL NOPPIES BABY COMFORT SWADDLING CLOTH
It certainly isn’t an excessive luxury to buy a swaddling cloth before the birth of your little one. They are very useful for a variety of general things too. Perhaps for your baby to wake up in after a lovely nap. Or to have a lovely snooze in whilst feeding. The hood will ensure your baby’s head will stay nice and warm. The hood also features a handy loop, which you can use the hang up our swaddling cloth. Smart!
SUSTAINABLE CLOTHS
Many young mums (and dads!) like to choose their baby things in gender-neutral colours. We have certainly also taken this into account where our swaddling cloths are concerned. Half of our collection is made from super soft GOTS-certified cotton and the other part from a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester. Both options are sustainable choices. Perfect!
