Noppies party outfits have arrived!

That’s right! December is here again! The month of gifts, good food and friends & family! We love it. Meanwhile, the Christmas tree with its sparkling lights is up and our festive outfits are ready and waiting for that special time! Of course, a sequin here and a sparkle there really befit the season. Although, if it were up to them, Roos and Saar would be happy to wear them all year round!

We head to the garden centre once or twice in December to soak up the Christmas atmosphere! The children love it and I secretly do too! Those Christmas tunes are enough to get me in the mood! With Jingle Bells or Mariah Carey playing in the background and a mug of hot chocolate with whipped cream in the little restaurant. We load up a pile of apple/cinnamon-fragranced candles and we are ready to head home again!

As you can see, the girls’ Christmas outfits have plenty of sequins and a high cuteness factor! Saar’s skirt is made of faux fur and has an elasticised ribbed waistband so that it is easy to put on. Roos’s skirt has a top layer of tulle with sequins, of course! But what struck me was that there are another 2 layers underneath, which make it a lovely and warm little skirt for those colder winter days!

The boys each have a dress shirt to wear under a nice warm jumper. To be perfectly honest, the boys are not too fond of shirts, at least, not usually. When I used to try to get them into shirts anyway, they always complained that they were too tight, which restricted their movement. But not this time! They even wanted to wear them to school the next day to show off the fact they had shirts!

After Christmas, we of course still have New Year’s Eve to look forward to! The children always enjoy the fireworks. We usually relax at home and I prepare some tasty nibbles and of course, a plate of doughnuts to stuff our faces with! We wake the children at 23:45 and count down to 00:00 together! We race up to the attic with mouths crammed with doughnuts to watch the fireworks go off!

Yes, December certainly is one of the best times of the year! My advice is to enjoy each other’s company and have a great 2017! Unfortunately, this will be my last diary entry for NOPPIES! If you want to keep following our adventures, you can follow us on Instagram.
